Would you enjoy an evening of inspiring, entertaining speeches? The White Rock toastmasters clubs are putting on their International Speech Contest on Thursday evening, April 9th, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Centennial Park Leisure Centre, located at 14600 North Bluff (16th Ave.), White Rock. There will be half a dozen speakers, each with inspiring, moving stories to tell that will warm your heart.

At intermission there will be tasty refreshments. There will also be exciting door prizes!

There will be no charge for this wonderful evening!

Come out and hear the best speakers from each club compete with each other, as they seek to get to the International Speech Contest in Las Vegas! You just might hear the International winner, right here in White Rock! Each winner started out in a small local club just like ours.

This wonderful event will be hosted by the Finding Vino Toastmasters Club and Evening Edition Toastmasters Club, both in the White Rock area.

What is a toastmasters club, you ask. We are a volunteer organization that helps ordinary people build their communication and leadership skills, thus improving every aspect of their lives. Come out for a free example of what we do best.
